AMC's series adaptation of Richard Russo’s novel Straight Man with Bob Odenkirk set to star as William Henry Devereaux, Jr., the unlikely chairman of the English department in a badly underfunded college in the Pennsylvania rust belt.
The project comes from Aaron Zelman and Paul Lieberstein, who are adapting the book and serve as co-showrunners.
